About SALT
Paul Rinehart, SALT’s head chef and co‚Äìcreator, received his training in classical French cooking at the L‚ÄôAcademie de Cuisine in Bethesda, Maryland. He has been cooking since childhood and has over a decade of formal and informal restaurant and catering experience. Having spent a considerable amount of time in Scandinavia, Paul melds the best of Scandinavian traditions with contemporary American flavors. Paul can tailor a classic French menu to your tastes, or create menus that showcase regional and seasonal foods. ¬†Paul is ServSafe Certified.

Ilonka Oszvald, creative consultant and official taster, learned to cook and bake in the kitchen of her Hungarian grandmother. Born and raised in Canada, she has spent long periods of time in Europe and Asia and enjoys bringing the flavors of both continents to her creations. Her great love is baking?lovingly recreating the decadent cakes of central Europe in her own kitchen.
