CMK’S CHRISTOPHER R. CARROLL NAMED TO 2009 MARTINDALE-HUBBELL BAR REGISTER OF PREEMINENT LAWYERS
Prestigious Honor Based on Peer Review
BASKING RIDGE, N.J., March 25, 2009 – Christopher R. Carroll, founding member of Carroll McNulty & Kull LLC (CMK) of Basking Ridge, N.J., has been named to the 2009 Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers, an exclusive directory published annually by Martindale-Hubbell. Less than 5% of the nation’s attorneys receive this honor, which is based on peer review.
A resident of Morristown, N.J., Carroll concentrates his practice on resolving insurance coverage disputes through litigation or alternative dispute resolution mechanisms. His vast experience includes cases involving environmental, toxic tort, asbestos, construction, advertising liability, products liability, property, automobile, and employment issues. During his 18 years of practice, Carroll has represented clients in insurance coverage disputes in all states, Puerto Rico and Europe.
In February, CMK marked its 12th year of operation and now has 48 attorneys. The firm provides legal counseling and representation to clients of all sizes and has represented a number of the world’s largest insurance companies, litigating hundreds of insurance coverage disputes in state and federal courts as well as in arbitration and mediation proceedings. In addition to insurance coverage, primary practice areas include construction and surety, insurance defense, commercial disputes and business counseling, and employment as well as admiralty, maritime, transportation, and international trade.
Often tapped to take on leadership roles, Carroll was elected by peers in 2004 to the Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel, which promotes knowledge, fellowship, professionalism and the course of justice. In addition, he is a member of the editorial board of Insurance Law & Litigation Week, a comprehensive weekly briefing on key developments in insurance law nationwide. Carroll graduated magna cum laude from St. Joseph’s College and received his J.D. from St. Johns University School of Law.
