TEANECK, N.J., July 27, 2009 – Encelium’s 24 Relay Panel (RP24) demonstrates the flexibility of the company’s Energy Control System (ECS), permitting users to address the lighting needs of individual workers or groups through an easy to use graphical user interface (GUI). The fully addressable lighting relay panel is a new product of Encelium Technologies, whose ECS system is the industry’s leading energy management and lighting control system.
Encelium’s innovations in energy management and lighting control have made it a leader in the design and installation of intelligent building systems for new and existing commercial buildings. ECS is designed to reduce lighting-related energy costs by 50 to 75 percent, and its use contributes significantly to a building achieving the coveted U.S. Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED).
The new RP24 Relay Panel is an addressable lighting control panel that fully integrates with Encelium’s Energy Control System. It allows each of the 24 relays to be individually controlled and configured to best meet the needs of the facility through its Polaris interface, which provides floor plan-based navigation.
Highlights of the Encelium 24 Relay Panel include:
· Permitting each relay to be addressed as an individual zone or part of a larger zone using Encelium’s Polaris software
· Promoting easy navigation through a floor plan-based graphical interface or a zone level “tree” configuration
· Existing as part of a daisy chain of multiple panels in the overall Encelium architecture through the GreenBus communications network
· Tying into a Building Automation System via Encelium’s BACNet interface.
