NEW BRUNSWICK, N.J., March 10, 2009 – The New Jersey Chapter of NAIOP, the commercial real estate development association, is pleased to announce that Delia Associates of Whitehouse, New Jersey, is the winner of the association’s first Commercial Real Estate Awards Gala Design Competition.
The Gala, to be held May 14 at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center in Newark, honors the best of the commercial real estate industry. “The Gala is a unique opportunity to showcase the original work of this talented designer,” said Gala Co-Chair Michael Seeve of Mountain Development Corp. The dynamic design will be used for the cover of the commemorative journal and will inspire the overall theme and décor of the event: It will define the color scheme, lighting and staging, and will be the template for marketing materials, signs, invitations, cocktail napkins, linens and the awards presentation.
Delia Associates is a fully integrated branding and marketing organization. The firm’s areas of concentration include brand strategy and development, strategic marketing and Internet-based communications. One key component is a proprietary brand development model that provides its clients with unique brand positions, personalities and opportunities.
According to designer Ed Delia, the competition “began as a challenge to conceptually unite a subtle look and feel of the commercial real estate industry with the elegance of this event. Our hope is that the cover design will convey to the attendees the significance of the evening and will leave a lasting impression and a fond memory of this prestigious event.”
NAIOP-NJ’s Gala has been deemed one of the top networking events of the year. The 2009 Gala is chaired by Seeve and Gretchen Wilcox of G.S. Wilcox & Co.
