RAD maintains collaboration with western manufacturers of farm machinery
Russian Agricultural Division is well on its way to set up a firm basis for large-scale farming operations in the next coming years.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - December 22, 2008
(Free-PR-Release.com) The agricultural arm of grain processor PAVA is in talks with western producers of farm machinery, pursuing dealership relations along with supplying the company’s farms.
In autumn 2008, at the trade fair Altay Niva (Barnaul) Transagro, a structural unit of RAD, signed a cooperation agreement with Horsch, a German-based company which produces soil cultivating and seeding equipment. In future it is planned to extend this partnership into new areas, such as dealer relations.
RAD also considers collaboration with Horsch AgroSoyuz center in the Ukraine which produces metalware of prime quality apart from trailing aggregates. This machinery has a high market potential for agricultural operators on the local market.
To recap, earlier Transagro Corporation signed a year-long dealership contract with German company Lemken. Despite the world financial situation, which may hinder development of these partnerships, the company does not abandon the chosen strategy.
Employing western expertise and up-to-date aggregates from world-known manufacturers is a key for opening up RAD’s potential. Sustained and independent agricultural production will contribute to the success of other projects by RAD’s parent PAVA.
