SPN Launches Site Highlighting Corporate Telecommunications Expense Reduction

PELHAM, N.Y., Aug. 10, 2009 – Secure Path Networks (SPN), an independent telecommunications consulting company specializing in providing no-risk, no-cost auditing and conversion services on behalf of Fortune 500 and institutional clients, has launched a new web site, www.securepathnetworks.com, to educate voice and data users about common various methods to save money on telecommunications billing and service.

“Telecommunications is traditionally within a company’s top five line-item expenses, yet it is the most under-reviewed and monitored. This is primarily due to the overwhelming complexity of researching and negotiating with multiple vendors and then determining how voice and data lines are in compliance with the original contract service agreements,” said Tom Gesky, who established SPN in 2001 and is the company’s chief executive officer. “Our goal is to untangle the confusion process and billing to help save money and monitor possible red flags.”

Based in Westchester County, N.Y., with regional offices throughout the New York metropolitan area and Boston, SPN serves as a liaison between carriers and businesses to evaluate, analyze, identify, negotiate and implement the best telecommunications solution available. The firm does not charge clients any fees or a percentage of savings.

“SPN was established using an innovative business model that derives its revenue directly from the telecommunications provider or providers selected by the client,” explained Gesky. “This enables us to deliver what is, in effect, a risk- and cost-free service to clients while connecting them to vendors, with whom we retain a neutral relationship.”

SPN maintains these relationships with more than 100 telecommunications vendors, carriers and providers. Through these alliances, the firm delivers significant savings and optimal solutions that often result in enhanced services at 20 to 60 percent less than what a client had been spending.

“In the current economy, companies of all sizes, in every industry are looking for new, creative cost-cutting measures to save jobs without sacrificing their quality standards,” said Gesky. “The ability and need to significantly reduce telecommunications expenditures has always existed. It has just taken on even greater urgency in the current market.”

Process Yields Seamless Telecom Conversions
Following an initial meeting with a company’s chief executive or financial officer, as well as the management information or information technology managers, Gesky and the SPN team conduct an in-depth analysis of recent telecommunications bills spanning two to three months. Using proprietary industry benchmarks, the highly experienced team evaluates costs, quality, service agreements and software and hardware solutions. SPN then develops several cost-efficient service and vendor options from which the client may choose. Once the client makes a decision, SPN works with the new telecommunications providers to oversee the entire implementation process.

“Beyond the initial fact-gathering meeting, the entire process requires little to no involvement by the company’s employees, other than providing access to past bills,” said Gesky.

SPN’s regional, national and international clients include retailers, staffing agencies, pharmaceutical companies, financial firms, legal firms, educational facilities, wholesalers, distributors, manufacturers, real estate firms, logistics companies and government agencies. The SPN web site includes several case studies as well as data sheets for review.

The company, which works with businesses from single locations to complex multiple locations, is headquartered in Pelham, N.Y., and operates branch offices in Manhattan, Long Island and the Boston area. New offices are planned for New Jersey and Philadelphia in the coming months.
