Walters Homes Employees Honored At Sixth Annual FAME Gala
 
BARNEGAT, N.J., March 4, 2009 – Walters Homes, the single-family custom and planned community homebuilding division of Walters Group, garnered three Fabulous Achievement in Marketing Excellence (FAME) awards from the Shore Builders Association of Central New Jersey (SBACNJ). The sixth annual 2009 FAME Awards Gala was held at the Grand Marquis, Old Bridge, N.J.
 
The juried event honors members of the local building industry for excellence in sales and marketing. Individual Achievement Awards were presented to three Walters Homes employees. Pamela Schuster won the prestigious Marketing Director of the Year award for her instrumental marketing efforts at the corporate level and for her work on Ocean Acres at Barnegat and Whispering Hills.
 
For excellence in sales, in the Million Dollar Club category, Laurie McManus won for New Home Sales at the Silver Level with nearly $9.9 million in sales, and Danielle Edreff won for Options/Upgrade Sales Achievement with over $1 million in options sales. The Million Dollar Club Awards are presented to salespeople who execute sales of at least $2 million, and the Options/Upgrade Sales awards are presented to salespeople who sell options and upgrades totaling $400,000 or more.
 
“It’s a great honor for our employees to be recognized by the local trade association as being among the most outstanding professionals in the industry,” said Ed Walters, Jr., founder and partner of the Walters Group.
